Teaching Faculty

Our teaching faculty is comprised of dedicated, talented, and caring educators. Seton's classrooms are lead by the committed head teachers below.

Tayyaba Amhad

Ms. Tayyaba is a head teacher in the Toddler Program. She focuses on working through sensitive issues with children at this time of great development in their lives. She has been educating young children for over seven years, and she holds an AMS credential in Infant and Toddler Education. Ms Tayyaba completed advanced studies in Education at Queen Mary College in Lahore, Pakistan.

Sue Buntrock

Ms. Sue is the Coordinator of the Seton Montessori Preschool Program and also serves as a head teacher in the preschool's All Day Program. For over 25 years, Seton’s children have benefited from Ms. Sue’s expertise in child development and the Montessori approach. Prior to Seton, Ms. Sue taught at a private school for severely handicapped children. She holds an AMS credential in Early Childhood Education and a B.A. in Applied Behavioral Sciences from George Williams College in Downers Grove, IL.

Julie Eskenazi

Ms. Julie is a head teacher in the Preschool Program. She believes in following the child for they will let adults know what they need. Prior to Seton, Ms. Julie spent several years as a head teacher and assistant teacher at another school. She holds an AMS credential in Early Childhood Education and received a B.A. in Speech with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire, WI.

Nellie Garcia

Ms. Nellie is a head teacher in the Preschool Program. Her educational approach is to assist the child in developing their inner potential through the art of learning, supporting knowledge and growth through their experiences in the Montessori environment. She has over 20 years of experience in education, and holds an AMS credential in Early Childhood Education. She received a B.A. in Philology & Languages from the National University in Bogotá, Colombia, a M.A. in Language Arts from the University of Lancaster in Lancaster, UK, and a M.A. in School Supervision and Administration from the Great Colombia University in Bogotá, Colombia.

Silvia Dei Rossi

Ms. Silvia is a Co-teacher in the Toddler program. Her approach to education includes involving the children in everyday activities that lay the foundation for all learning. She has an AMS credential in Early Childhood Education and is working towards an AMS credential in Infant & Toddler Education. Silvia holds both a BA and a MA from the University of Urbino in Urbino, Italy.
