Parent-Child Programs
Our parent-infant and parent-child programs
are designed to satisfy the needs of today’s parents by giving
the specifics of best practices for the total development of the
young child. Research demonstrates that a child's growth is highly
dependent on the parent's awareness of his or her needs. Offered
by the Montessori Infant & Toddler Community at Seton Montessori
School, these parent-child programs enable the parent to bring
to their child a proven, scientific, and humanistic approach to
facilitating growth.
The program is under the guidance
of Eva Parrucci, who holds an M.A. in family counseling, is a
specialist and consultant in infant, toddler, and early
childhood education for the American Montessori Society, and who
is the Coordinator of the Montessori Infant & Toddler Community.
A specially relaxed, prepared environment is created to bring
adults and children together. Here we explore and discuss toys,
activities, and techniques identified today as best practices,
all to enhance the parenting experience.
