Jennifer Nolan

Jennifer Nolan serves as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives, having previously served as Head of School at Seton Montessori School for 13 years. A member of the school’s leadership team, Jennifer is responsible for the development of the organization’s strategic initiatives to include new program design and offerings at the Institute; marketing, communication and development; support and leadership of the general operations of our existing programs; as well as the integration of the relationship between the Institute and Lab School. Jennifer is an expert in Montessori education, with special insight into family counseling, practical life and sensorimotor curricula, and supporting children with special needs. In addition, she is a faculty member and Administrator Program Coordinator for the Seton Montessori Institute Teacher Education Program. She has presented at a number of local, national and international conferences. Holding AMS credentials in Early Childhood Education and Administration and a Journalism Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Jennifer was a Lead Teacher in an Early Childhood classroom for several years and has also served as the Program Coordinator for the Early Childhood and Infant and Toddler Programs. Jennifer is a member of the American Montessori Society School Accreditation Commission.

Fun Fact: Jennifer’s grandparents owned and operated the local newspaper in their small town. Perhaps that is where her love of words came from!
