Kristen Ediger

Kristen Ediger is a Student Teacher in the Blue Classroom. Kristen has been the Head of School at Humboldt Park Montessori for the past ten years until she discovered the irresistible joy of being in the classroom full-time. She holds a Montessori Administrator's credential from Seton Montessori Institute and is completing her Early Childhood Credential through Seton as well. She holds a BFA from John Brown University.

Kristen discovered Montessori while working at an afterschool program on the southside of Chicago, and she is passionate about making Montessori accessible to under-resourced communities. She loves the spark of magic that happens when children learn something new, and she loves to learn new things too!

Kristen and her husband, Brad, have three children who grew up in Montessori - a 16-year-old, a 14-year-old, and an 8-year-old. In her spare time, Kristen loves to read, knit, sing, and play board games.
