Sachin Sata
Sachin Sata is an Assistant and Student Teacher in the Lower Elementary Classroom. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master's degree in Plant Sciences. He has worked as an Environmental Education Teacher at Nature's Classroom Institute (NCI) and conducted programs for Montessori schools across the USA. He has also worked in India as an Environmental Educator. His zest for knowledge and background in research, education, and camping have taken him to the shores of Madagascar, Taiwan, and Sri Lanka. He has research publications in the journals of the plant world. He is currently a student at Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Center pursuing his Elementary I-ll credentials.
Growing up in an extended family with younger siblings and cousins, caring for the young and the community comes naturally to him. He loves working with young minds and facilitating learning.
Fun Fact: Sachin loves plants, the outdoors, and vegetarian food! He can give a 5-minute discourse on any plant you point out to him. He is an avid trekker and an amateur mountaineer and skier with certificates in Basic Mountaineering and Snow Skiing
