Job Title: Middle School Math Guide
Description: The Middle School Math Guide guides adolescents in developing strong mathematical understanding, critical thinking skills, and confidence as independent learners. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of adolescent development, strong experience with or interest in Montessori philosophy and practices, and a working knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards for Mathematics, with the ability to thoughtfully align standards within a Montessori learning framework.
As a Middle School Guide, you will facilitate a prepared learning environment that supports each student’s intellectual, emotional, and social development, fosters interdisciplinary connections, and balances Montessori principles with state requirements in a developmentally appropriate way.
