Job Title: Middle School Math Guide

Description: The Middle School Math Guide guides adolescents in developing strong mathematical understanding, critical thinking skills, and confidence as independent learners.
As a Middle School Guide, you will collaborate with other Middle School Guides to facilitate a prepared learning environment that supports each student’s intellectual, emotional, and social development, fosters interdisciplinary connections, and balances Montessori principles with state requirements in a developmentally appropriate way.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Expertise in the subject area that you are hired to teach, including demonstrated knowledge of Colorado Academic Standards.
Interest in and willingness to learn about the Montessori philosophy
Understanding of adolescent development and education, with an understanding of the emotional, social, and intellectual needs of middle school-aged children.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to engage with students, parents, and colleagues in a collaborative and professional manner.
Passion for working in a Montessori environment and dedication to the educational success of students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in developing and leading interdisciplinary projects and curriculum.
At least five years of teaching experience.
